“Jack & Friends,” Jack London Square

This was the first time I added ceramic elements to a 2D mural. The client was concerned about vandalism but in all the years it graced the walls of Jack London Square, the only evidence of human touch was the worn noses of the pig and the wolf. The bottom image is my great-grandfather, Judge Samuels: just to piss Jack off. I worked on a book concept for years, but doubt it would get enough traction to actually be published. The murals were destroyed by a hotel developer many years ago.
