Drawing online at Stanford

On a Sunday morning, I spotted an ad for an online drawing class at Stanford. Yes, of course I know how to draw – technically I can, probably because I’ve been doing it since I was about 5. I wanted to approach this more conceptually – how to think about drawing. In addition, I’ve tried to ignore any intentional “design” in my work, but of course, that’s impossible. This amazing experience has helped me to come to terms with the process of design. So 5 days per week, for 5 weeks, we got a thought provoking prompt from instructor Trevor Tubelle. I started my career in design and advertising, so I might as well embrace it, especially as climbing up 3 stories of scaffolding seems to be less appealing.
