Sketches: at home & away

There’s no better way to experience where ever you are, at any time. I’ve been drawing all my life, and have a pile of travel sketchbooks dating to 1972. Paris, Chicago, New York, Italy, Austria, and now I’ve lost count. No place really exotic, not yet, but I can always hope. Used to bug the Bee to send me to China when my former editor’s former editor was in the Bejing Bureau there. Too late. I can remember so many experiences, like sitting alone at night in the train station in Marseilles, then a totally scary armpit of1972 France.
