Frankenstein: a new quasi graphic novel

Have you ever actually read the original Frankenstein? For the 200th anniversary of the publication of Frankenstein in January, I’m working on a quasi graphic novel for the Sacramento Public Library. I’m starting the project with suggestions to a real editor, at the Library, as to what to omit from the story to move it forward. Frankenstein does a lot of redundant whining, and who can blame him? It’s a fascinating read, especially in light of contemporary issues today.

The Library will be publishing the new book through its very cool I Street Press program.
